These are effective at keeping my ears warm and I love the music playing capability. I had this exact pair for many many years and they still worked great, but sadly I lost them. I just ordered these as a replacement, but I can only assume they’ll hold up as well as the previous ones (my boyfriend also has this exact pair for more than a year and they’re still working great). Overall, I’m very happy to own them. And I like how small they fold up — very easy to store and carry around. Cons: the cord that plugs into your phone/mp3 player is insanely, stupidly long. I can’t conceive of any reason that anyone would need it to be so long. It’s constantly in the way, and difficult to put away. Also, I wish the ear portion was a little bigger – going all the way OVER my ear with the top and bottom hitting above and below my ears, instead of how it is which is just kind of sitting on top of each year. When I walk in them (which I do daily) they move around a lot and it’s annoying. When I try to run or do something active in them (which I do semi-regularly) the movement is REALLY annoying and I have to end up taking them off. All the same, definitely a good value for the price I paid.

Headphone quality was worse than dollar store earbuds. Sound was garbled and staticy, and cut in and out as you moved the wire. Also the speakers are very bulky, so when you wear the earmuffs, the speakers get shoved into your ears in very uncomfortable angles. The trim around the edge of the the earmuffs i received had about an inch long melted spot (literally like it was lit on fire). To small, I have a narrow head so I thought it would be fine, barely fits. The 180s brand earmuffs are awesome, ive owned two pairs, just dont expect anything from the speakers, and beware of this seller, as my earmuffs were obviously damaged.

The only thing stopping these earmuffs from a 5 star rating is the adjustablity, these earmuffs seem a little small for an adult size. Even being on the small side overall they are comfortable, warm and give surprisingly good sound for the price. They are quite compact when folded up and fit nicely in the inside pocket of my coat, the removable cord for the speakers is a nice feature and the plug for the cord tucks neatly into the earmuffs when not using the speakers. Overall it is a good product for the price, however I would recommend trying on a pair to see how they fit before buying.

I bought these for running in the winter so that I wouldn’t need to wear headphones and earmuffs. They are not good for that. They were constantly falling off during the run.

I started just wearing them as I was walking around the city, and I found them great for that. I was warm, music quality was good enough, and they didn’t fall off.

it came to my mind that there might be a mistake with wiring becasue as soon as I??? started to test it on of the headset stopped working. When you touch and vibrate one of the wires it starting to play again, It remindes me an old airplane headphones which are really doesn’t play well even you hold them close to the socket. Eventhough I like the idea execution could be much more better.

The headphone jack doesn’t fit well into my iphone 5S, rendering this entire product useless. All i get is static unless i fiddle with the wire every five seconds. For me, this purchase was a complete waste of money. I should have paid another $20 for a better product. At this price point anyway, it appears that these headphones indeed ARE too good to be true

overall good product. I was expecting my own earphones to be plugged in cox my earphones have in-built mic and volume control buttons so that I don’t have to pull the phone out all the time to adjust volume and change tracks. But its good overall. Please change jack design so that our earphones can fit in as well.

They were shipped quickly and came in good packaging.
They fit great, i walk so, i dont think i would have had a problem with them slipping off.
Only the left speaker worked.
I’m sending them back.
Amazon has a great return policy for defective products. They sent me an RMA and shipping label so, it’s not all bad.

I hated these. They were uncomfortable and the sound was horrible. Then I checked the connections, made certain the connectors were in tight- on both the iPod and earmuffs- and flipped them around so that the 180s logo was upside down. This made everything work correctly. It does take some getting used to and they are stiff at first, but be patient and these will perform as intended.

I bought these to replace a broken pair of Gorgonz ear warmers which provided me with four winters of good service.

(Gorgonz are made by 180s, it’s their “work” brand. I think Gorgonz are generally a more inexpensively made & priced product.)

These seem much more “deluxe” than my old Gorgonz quality wise. My old pair were just simple fleece and didn’t have much padding. These are heavier, the soft-shell exterior and interior lining seem like much more significant fabric, and there seems to be more internal cushioning.

However the fit on these isn’t as good as the old Gorgonz. I have a relatively large head (usually a L or XL hat), and while these cover my ears, they feel a bit over-stretched when I wear them. They feel somewhat insecure, as if they will slide off the back of my head if I look around too much. I may not be as apt to wear these while skiing or doing other winter activities for fear of them coming off at inopportune times.

The ear coverings on my old Gorgonz were also quite concave and cupped my ears well, contributing to a secure fit. These have much flatter ear coverings which more just press against my ears.

The headphones are nice and sound pretty good. The speakers are about the diameter of a quarter. You can feel them when you press on the ear pads with your hands, but I don’t feel them at all when I’m actually wearing the warmers.

Overall a good product, but be a bit cautious if you have a larger head.
