Definitely provides the compression you are looking for. I bought to my normal sizing, and it is difficult to put on and take off…however once on, it does seem to do it’s job and there is no restriction in movement. This is first compression shirt for me, so maybe this is the way it is supposed to be. Regardless, this is high quality and I believe it does the job on helping to keep my body/shoulders together when lifting or doing full body exercise. I definitely recommend it.
Only complaint is based on the shirtsleeve version I bought….it came with no tags, clearly was crumpled up in the box, box was damaged and I could tell it had been worn. Very disappointing for any product, but definitely when $99 for a shirt. If returns were not annoying, I would have sent back, but decided to wash and live with it.
I have been a strong supporter for Under Armour…while I still think UA is awesome for the price.This 2xu is heaven.I have had multiple spinal surgeries.I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.I have been lifting weights for 40 years.I have pain everyday.From the minute I felt the quality,to putting it on and feeling my smile fill my face.It was an e mediate lessening of pain and pressure.I would marry this if it was possible hahaha.You pay for what you get.If like me its a wise investment for this 55 year old man.
Four stars simply because this compression shirt fits loose around the waist. The arms, chest, upper back and shoulder areas provide great compression. Unfortunately, 2XU must have forgotten that people who religiously workout have small midsections. Oh, and I have four of these shirts – 2 sm and 2 md.
I have used this as a base layer for the my outdoor runs this winter. This is not a layer to keep you warm, but it is perfect under a couple of other layers and a jacket. It is super tight so it feels a little strange to wear. It makes me keep my shoulders back when I have it on, so I feel like it may help my posture on some of those super-long marathon training runs. It was the perfect solution to a painful nipple chafing problem. Have you ever done a 15 mile run with the wrong shirt? I am 6’3" and about 185. I went with Large, and it seems like the right size. This top has been perfect.
Slight tendency of overheating when you run in temperatures above 50F.
I use it to go skiing and hiking. It feels comfortable even after a day of use.
CWX has similar products for cheaper but the sleeves happen to be too short for me. I am 6.2 and my shirt’s sleeves length is 34".
I never thought I would buy a compression shirt. I workout a lot and play sports and turning 47. My shoulders and arms take a beating, but wearing this provides support to my shoulders, back, and arms. I feel like I’m able to workout just as hard without the extra soreness I would experience. I still getting used to this, but I’m already thinking about buying another one. The fit is tight but does not constrict to the point that I don’t have full range of motion.
Almost perfect. It would be considerably better if it was offered in a size SMALL SHORT, as the waist and sleeves are a tad bit long. The comfort of this compression top is absolutely outstanding? As the material is very light, yet offers great compression. I’ve used this to sooth sore muscles by bringing in considerably more bloodflow, allowing those muscles to heal themselves much faster. I will be buying again.
The compression is as expected, but I thought it would squeeze a little bit more in the torso. The only thing that is difficult is getting the shirt on and aligning the sleeves correctly.
I haven’t worn it to work out yet as I really bought it for the Spring/ Fall when I go running.
I tried a few others before and was never impressed before. After using this a couple times I just have to say Im speechless. I used to run 3-5 miles and then get back aches, now I run double the milage and feel REFRESHED after the run. I usually keep it on for another hour after running and stretch my body with a few yoga postures.
Do yourself a favor and give your body this treat, TRULY A TREAT!! :)))

True to size, great compression for shoulders and back. I was surprised that it is actually vented very well, you do not overheat. Best one I’ve tried.
