This device works ok to tie up a sarong but it doesn’t hold. I prefer to tie my sarongs without it.
I saw many of these things on my vacation in Mexico but none of them in mother of pearl.
I accidentally dropped mine on a tiled floor and it broke cleanly in two. I’m in no hurry to fix it.

I’m rather tall, and I prefer my sarongs to hang low…but once I’m done knotting them, they’re hitched up higher than I’d like. This tie helps reduce the bulk of the sarong knots, giving me a bit more fabric to work with and a bit lower hemline—and it’s a lovely little accent, as well!

I bought this to use with my sarong for a trip to Maui and it never seemed to work correctly. The sarong slipped just as much with the tie as it did just tying a knot so I left it in the room most of the time.

I didn’t really need this item – it seemed extraneous – mostly, I just tied up the sarong on its own. This was just an added burden rather than making it prettier.

This receives a 5star rating as it deserves it. I bought this one for myself before going to Hawaii on 10 day vacation. It is so pretty and works well with the strong that I also purchased. I bought 10 other strong ties while in Hawaii as gifts and none were as pretty as this one. I am happy to call this one mine!

The product is as expected. It seems to be of good quality, and a good size. I only wish it had more color like the one pictured. Mine was about a third white and blended into a tobacco stain yellow.

I ordered the 1 World Sarongs Mother of Pearl Sarong Tie in the STAR shape. it arrived soon and was wrapped very securely. I am thrilled with it and was taken with the beauty and sheen of the Mother of Pearl soft colors in the STAR. Nice size, doesn’t look cheap and is quite sturdy. I purchased the star shaped mother of pearl sarong tie, and it is sturdy, strong and beautiful. It came quickly in the mail (along with a sarong I purchased from the same company – also very nice!). I would recommend if you are looking for one.

This is the first time I have ordered a sarong tie. I am very impressed with the quality of this item. The picture doesn’t do it justice as it looks much prettier in person. Can’t wait to use it with my new sarongs!
