I like this tie. This tie, ties well and is made of quality material. However, the color on the web page here is described as more of a champagne color and a light chocolate brown. The actual color of the tie I received was a very dull silver. Not even close to champagne. I was pretty disappointed about this because I had a certain shirt that I had in mind to wear this with when I bought it.
The other side was a lot darker than in the picture and as described, and also the gold and blue streaks were alot harder to see but I can live with that. I believe it will still work with my other shirt.
All in all, the picture is a little misleading color/shade wise, so I was miffed at spending 15 dollars on a bowtie only to have it come and not look as I thought it would. Otherwise, in exception of the colors being different, the tie was very nice.
This is a great, classy looking tie.One of my favorites. Like all the silk ties these folks sell, it’s a solid weight/thickness that lends itself well to tying easily and staying put.
I saw another reviewer of TieBar products complain about the pricing, and I agree it’s a bit screwy. Some of these TieBar ties can ship with Prime, and those are a better deal than on TieBar’s web site (they charge shipping). But for the reversible ties that don’t ship with Prime, the company’s web site is a bit cheaper.
