Goes with all outfits. It is semi-transparent as depicted and still hides my "bat-wings." Goes down far enough on your back so if you have a small amount of "bra-fat" it will not show. Wraps around in front enough that neither your armpits or loose skin in front of your arm pits show. The cut is loose enough so your movement is not at all restricted. The sizing chart said I should order large and I did. Love it!

I saw this and ordered it to go with a strapless dress for my daughter’s wedding. I felt the dress needed something to cover my shoulders at the church. This was perfect. I read other reviews which said the bolero fit slightly large so I ordered a medium and it was perfect. I wear a size 8.

So happy with this shrug. After a certain age, upper arms aren’t very pretty, for some of us 🙁 I love how this shrug has covering power, but still feels sexy. The sheer fabric is perfect for not weighing down your "look." The sleeves were a tad long for my short, 5’3" frame so I simply turned them up and hand stitched the hem. Took very little time, while watching TV. I was attending a dressy event so I purchased some small, black, Swarovski crystal beads (not very heavy or it’ll sag, must double stitch each bead) and trimmed the sleeves and all around the front and back. It looked more expensive than it was. This shrug was Goldilocks perfect. Not too big, not too small, and perfect length in the back. This shrug gave this old grandma wonderful confidence. I can’t wait to wear it again 🙂

Runs a little small. Looks nice but cheaper feel to it. Fabric was sheer and also uncomfortable to wear if there was ANY tightness at all (rough on skin). If it came in a 2x or was more true to size, it would have been more flattering. Since it ran small, and I wear an XL, the XL on me looked really tight and was constantly twisting around, so I couldn’t take it on my vacation. SO .. my advice to the manufacturer if you want to sell more of these, make them a tad larger, or offer some bigger sizes so we get that look that is on the model in the photo. I’m keeping the two I purchased, because I’m working out and loosing weight, and it won’t be so tight in a couple more months.

PS.. it is thin and sheer, will not really cover up bra straps or anything like that, so be aware. I knew this when I purchased these in black and white, but just in case you want them for that purpose, keep looking.

I ordered a medium. I am a thick girl, 160lbs, 4’11’, size 10-12. I bought a sleeveless wedding dress and just wanted something to cover my shoulders in the chapel. I’ve searched and ordered many options from Amazon but this is what I was looking for. It was the perfect sheer, light weight option that didn’t take away from the dress. But me and Mom made the final decision that the white color I ordered just doesn’t look perfect with my ivory dress. The cool thing is that Mom wanted to keep it for her in the future! She is going to order more colors. The medium fit her well too. I’m just going to go to a tailor to add light sleeves over my shoulder but with this type of material.

Wore it after sunset for my wedding. Fit perfect, very light, went well with my dress and people loved it.

Love this bolero or shrug, what ever you want to call it. Fits nicely and sleeves cover the top part of my arms. I’m going to order another one in a different color.

I originally ordered the white one, but it was too bright of a white…I had planned to wear it at my wedding. I re-ordered in ivory, but unfortunately they only had an XL available, no L. Not a huge deal, it still looked better with my dress than the super bright white, even if it was a little bigger than I had wanted. Very comfortable. I will considering buying in other colors in the future. I hate my arms, so I pretty much always have them covered. I loved this little bolero…its a good amount of sheer but ample coverage.
