I ordered this swimsuit in the same size that I always order everything (size 12). I haven’t gained any weight and all of my other clothes still fit just fine but this was tight to get on. I would recommend ordering it at least one size larger than your normal size.

This is a beautiful suit. You probably want to order a size larger than what you normally wear. I originally ordered a 10 and had to return it for a 12; and I am not a large woman.

OK- I HATE swimwear…HATE it!!!

But, unfortunately have to wear it sometimes…. I ordered this suit as I thought the nautical theme was at least cute and the coverage seemed decent in all the right (or wrong in my case) places. I have to say for the first time in years, I’m actually not horrified at the thought of wearing a swimsuit. It’s adorable!!! Coverage is great in chest & tummy… Behind isn’t too bad either… Even though the front panel doesn’t extend to the back, I feel that at least the back/butt isn’t cut way up yonder. Regular suit in back, but not revealing by any means as it’s still quite modest. I did purchase some inserts to sew into the top as reinforcements as the top part is not really suited for full-chested ladies. I could get by for sure "as-is", but don’t want to take the chance. Sized up by one as I typically would for swimsuits and fits perfect. 🙂

I would imagine that I would have loved this swimsuit if it fit me! I’m a retail size 8 (IE. The GAP, but in Canada, not sure if US sizing is any different) and I should have got a size 12 instead of a 10. This is like wedding dress sizing!

I returned this item due to the fit. While it is cute in the picture, the top kind of smashed my chest down as if I was wearing a sports bra or life guard swim suit. The padding up top was just really flimsy and cheap. There was ample coverage on my bottom, but I felt like a boy short style is more flattering to my thicker body type than this skirt was. Overall, this wasn’t very flattering so I returned it. I’m 5’4" and about 150lb.

I read the reviews before ordering this swim suit. Some suggested ordering a size larger. I am a size 10. I always wear size 12 swim ware. So, I ordered a size 14. PERFECT!!! I love, love, love this suit! It is comfortable and gives perfect coverage. I take water aerobics classes at my local gym and this suit is awesome. I will buy another…:)

I had been debating on getting this swimsuit for a good while. After carefully looking through all the comments I did order a size up just to be sure that everything would be okay. It does run a little small. I LOVE it! It pulls everything together and it’s supper cute! I thought it did have booty support and the small fabric in front makes it very retro. AMAZING!

Loved the style for my age group of 50+. I wore this in Hawaii and received many compliments; people were surprised when I told them I purchased on Amazon
