The material is comfortable against the skin and it is long enough to not have a problem with riding up, but it is not very effective. I bought the size that was recommended but it does very little in the way of containment and compression that makes any significant difference. I have found other products of a similar/better quality that are cheaper and more effective.

I purchased 3 "slimming t-shirts" to compare. The 2(x)ist Mens Slimming V-Neck Body Shaper, White, Large, the Insta Slim Men’s Compression Short Sleeve V-neck Shirt (Large, White) and this, the Tone Tee Men’s T-shirt Large White. I judged them on feel, comfort breath-ability and most importantly, how they looked on me. I am not a huge guy…5’9" and about 190. But I have the love handles and they tend to ruin the lines of nice shirts made for skinnier guys. Hence I am trying these out…as well as eating better and exercising.

Of the 3, the the Insta Slim Men’s Compression Short Sleeve V-neck Shirt was the best in every category. It was more expensive than the Tone Tee shirt, but worth it. If there was anything that made it odd, it was the feel of the shirt. It is almost like lycra…but that made it very comfortable.

This shirt was the most expensive but second in every category except MAYBE breath-ability, where it might be 3rd. However, I liked it better than the Tone Tee because it looks like a T-shirt, whereas the Tone Tee has ribs.

With regard to the Tone Tee Men’s T-shirt, it was the bottom in all categories. There is ribbing on this shirt which is supposed to add to the slimming capabilities…but it does not. All it does is make it least comfortable. Of all the shirts listed, it was the loosest at the large size. So the slimming capability was minimal. It was also not as breath-able nor as comfortable as the others.

I removed one star because the neck is a little narrow for the size (I have medium and large), so it rides up the sides of your neck and will often show even under polo shirts. You can somewhat see this in the provided photo.

Otherwise, it is as expected and does a great job staying tucked through the day with a moderate slimming effect.

Total rip off. It is just a super tight shirt that doesn’t breathe at all. It provides no specific support to any one area. It is very long, which makes for a strange fit. The shirt is very warm, which is fine in the winter but to hot in the summer. It also gets smelly fast, like polypropylene does.

This shirt was tight. Really tight. Like so tight I had to have my wife help me to get it off tight. I followed the size chart and got a large. The material of the shirt was nice. It seemed well made. I am 6’3" 200 lbs and I workout 3 times a week. I’m not a bodybuilder, just a normal guy. If you are a slightly bigger, athletic build guy I would suggest you order at least one size up. Returned and did not reorder.

My husband loves this shirt as a more casual alternative to the control top shirts that are twice the price of this one. It stays tucked in, instead of rolling up like most of them do. It gives a decent amount of smoothing and is more comfortable since it is not quite as controlling as some of his other shirts. He likes to wear this shirt under his casual clothes.

I was looking for a Hanes Power Slim replacement and this was it! If you love the Hanes Power Slim shirt this brand is better! I Am very happy they have a v-neck version, no complaints. I am a bigger guy (about 270lbs and 6’2") and I prefer the tighter fit so go with a Medium.

Solid product. They tend to not stay bright white for long even when washing only with whites. Other than that these are well made, fit as expected and perform well. I’ve purchased at least 6 of these over the last 18 months.

Not uncomfortable. Does the job very well as an undergarment.
