I’ve only had this buckle for about two weeks and the prong, or flipper (the thing that actually goes inot the hole in the belt. Lol) fell off. I guess the metal is so soft, that the crimp just opened up. I was able to reattach it…..bit how long before it does it again is anybody’s guess.
Perhaps removing nickel from the buckle softens it. I’m not a metallurgist….so I can’t speak to that.
Other than that, the buckle is fine. A bit heavy and bulky, but I can live with that.
As for the nickel-free aspect? I’ll have to take their word for it. I haven’t had the buckle long enough to see if I’ll have another break-out.

I didn’t like the product because it has no shine to it & it still has metal on & the key to hold the belt tight is completely off balance so it will not last long…wasted money.

heavy brass better than expected

Looks good and is reversible. It feels like it is well made. Put this buckle on a 1 1/4" belt where the original reversible buckle had broken.

This buckle works perfect. Very easy to use and nickel free. Wish they had one size smaller to use with my dress belts and one size larger to use with my wide belts. I wear it on my dress belts even though it is a little large. It also fits on my medium size belts.

The buckel is of average quality. It was not able to fit perfectly square.
