These pants are definitely water proof! I live in Washington and used them for this years deer season. I did a significant amount of hiking and wore long johns underneath. They are not as breathable as I would have liked and had my boys feeling like they were in a sauna all day. Do not expect these to be completely silent when you move, they do have a slight crinkle when you walk. They do not come with belt loops, I did sew on belt loops to make them fit my needs.
The quality and price is perfect. These are NOT for tall people 6 foot or over. They are flood pants on tall people. My son in law ended up giving these to 5’6" woman and they fit perfect in the length perfectly for her.
I wear these for training our Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. It does a great job of keeping me dry and warm during several hours out in the field.
Bought these for my husband’s birthday – light weight and kept him dry out in the woods. He loves them!
The pants were a little thinner than expected. Def meant to be worn over something. But I’m 5’10" 200 lbs and they fit great.
