These are perfect ear warmers for me. When folded up they are nearly flat, and at their widest point they are ~4.25 inches (~4 in. at shortest width), which fits perfectly into my coat pocket. I can easily hear what is going on around me while wearing these.

The fleece ear pads are removable for laundering. From what I can decipher from the tiny laundry symbols carved into the plastic, directions are as follows: hand wash, do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron.

I previously had the standard adjustable 180s "Tec Fleece ear warmers," which shifted around uncomfortably when I moved my head and often hurt my ears. The Exolite Heat Tec Fleece warmers hardly move when I put them on, and there is no uncomfortable pressure on my ears or head. Also, as one reviewer stated, these do not mess up or snag my hair at all. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Second year on the same pair. If you want to keep your ears warm on cold bike rides, these are perfect. Being able fold them up and stow them without damage is a big plus. The minimalist design allows then to fit under the straps and retention system.

I was looking for something lightweight that would keep my ears warm when I go walking. I was eager to try these but disappointed that it didn’t keep my ears as toasty as I would have liked. Great when the temp is 40 or above, but when the temp is below 35 I need something more substantial. Also I am somewhat petite and these don’t fit very snug against my entire ear. They are better than nothing and don’t mess up my hair so that is a bonus. I will admit that my ears do get cold easily and I am walking at a very brisk pace.

I have a TINY head. These fit fairly well. They felt like they were slipping off a few times, but every time I checked, they were fine. Maybe it was just me. What I don’t like about them is the same complaint as any other ear muff: can’t wear glasses/sunglasses. Alas, not bad.

I love these ear warmers! Very lightweight and comfortable! I was skeptical at first because of the design but I am pleasantly surprised at how well they work. I live in Central Texas and as anyone from this area knows, you never know what kind of weather to expect day to day, especially in the fall and winter! Nice, soft, lightweight ear warmers that are portable and chic. They do exactly as described and keep the cold off your ears and your ears protected without having to wear bulky ear muffs. You can wear them over or under your hair. I’m very pleased with the product and purchase.

I purchased these with the hopes that they would be lightweight and easy to keep in my pocket. Indeed, they were lightweight. However, they weren’t very easy to collapse to keep in my pocket. The way the "hinges" are designed, you have to be very careful that they don’t snap instead of rotate. Unfortunately, even being careful was not enough – the plastic snapped within a month. I will say that it has been exceptionally cold, and perhaps that made the plastic brittle, but something designed for winter use should have taken that into account. I have another, more substantial pair of 180s that I purchased at approximately the same time, and those are warmer and seem to be holding up much better (at least for now).

These are nice, lightweight ear warmers. I don’t think they would be good for super cold days, but they will be nice for those chilly days when the wind tends to give me an earache. They stay in place and don’t mess up my hair, however, they are not adjustable and may not fit everyone. They do fold up nicely so they can be tucked in a pocket or purse. I really wanted another pair of Lobz ear warmers, but they don’t seem to make them anymore. These are more cheaply made and may not last as long as my Lobz warmers did. Those only broke because I sat on them. 🙁
