No, I didn’t botch the expression by mere ignorance; the actual expression doesn’t really fit. To say, "you get what you pay for," and seeing as how these are only ~$20.00, the implication says, these may not be worth it!
For me–I’ve spent a number of years buying those ~$8.00 5 packs of boxer briefs from Wal-Mart, and I’ve never been satisfied, and by the end of the day my "package" is all over the place; there is no support and by the end of the day, they are loose and worthless–I need support! I always thought I was average size and didn’t need underwear like this–my girlfriend quickly correctly me. The pouch on this underwear isn’t quite big enough for men, but given the material it’s made out of, it works very well. So, even men with larger than average packages will be satisfied with this pair.
My girlfriend reminded me that when purchases undergarments, they are pretty expensive when getting the right fit. Now that I’ve grown up, it’s time to spend a little extra on underwear that actually fits. The price listed for this pair is an excellent find, and thus, the expression should go, "you pay for what you get"–and what you get is an excellent pair of underwear.
I have tried many pairs of high-end in this style and decided these are my favorite – not perfect, but nearly. If you like cotton you may not like these, but if you have tried other wears that are not cotton and you like the feel, comfort and breath-ability then you will like these.
Fit was as expected. I am a 30-31" waist, wear up to 31-32" pants so the small size (..30") fit perfectly. The leg parts seem to stay down better than most any other brand I have tried. Look for bands that are taller that seems to help in this regard. The pouch is well designed, however I wish none of these makers would put a seam down the middle of the pouch – not really a problem, but not smart guys..
Pricey but worth it. Again since not cotton, no shrinkage or any other wear issues. Should last a long time. Great for working out or working outside on hot days too – much better than cotton.
Perfect for athletes, outside workers and guys that sit on their ass in the office that want to be comfortable.
So what if it’s 20 years and 40 pounds since I looked like the guy modeling these trunks in the picture? A guy still has a right to feel good, especially “down there” where it matters.
These 2(x)ist Men’s Speed No Show Trunks are amazingly comfortable. It’s been a 14 hour day, and, unlike my mainstream brand cotton boxer briefs, these shorts are still providing just the right amount of support and control, and are still as cool and dry as when I put them on this morning. I noticed the difference all day: walking, sitting, squatting and standing, the waistband didn’t slip down, the leg cuffs didn’t bunch up, and the contoured front kept things comfortably in position. The material is low-friction and low profile, so my wool dress pants fit and look better too.
Not made in China, so I know my kids are safe.
I bought a few other brands with this order, too, so I will add comparative reviews as I wear them. I will also post an update on durability.
I love seeing my man in these. They fit great and accentuate the positive, if you know what I mean.
Advantages:
1. Great cut that accounts for anatomy (great for well-endowed guys)
2. Smooth comfortable fabric that doesn’t feel synthetic
3. Nice looking design- not like the other brands that end up all loose and saggy like worn-out "tighty-whiteys."
Downside:
1. More expensive than crappy brands- but come on, men, step up- it’s worth the price and they are cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else

Even after a full day of work in construction, up and down ladders, on and off roofs, in rafters, sweating, it didn’t matter. These stayed where they were suppose to and kept everything where it was suppose to be. They don’t stretch like cotton and they don’t climb the leg like cotton. They also dry faster than cotton. I have already ordered more.
I love how these fit!! I’m a little dude at 5′ 9", 155lb and these fit perfect! I got the Small, and they ride low and have a gentle comfortable embrace. They look just as good as they feel also! i shouldn’t be so excited about my underwear but I really enjoy wearing them. I’ll certainly be buying another pair (or two)…
I’m 150lbs, 5’10", have athletic build, wear size small in many things, waist size 29-30". I got a medium in these knowing that my quads usually require a size up. I’m glad I did. Still snug fit, but I needed the extra room for the thighs
Best trunks I’ve ever owned. The material is so soft and silky I felt like I was wearing nothing. Best of all, the don’t ever ride up during my activities or stretch out by the end of the day. These skivvies are my favorite pair so far and I can’t wait until other colors are introduced I may like because I will definitely buy more of these!
First, they may be a little pricey but worth every penny. The materials allow easy form fitting and breathing room. For some it’s pretty fashionable, but overall the importance is that it’s pure comfort. No chaffing, roughness, easily flexes with your anatomy so no more worries about irritation or discomfort. Highly recommend, already buying more!
Very good fit but a few millimeters on the loose side- which I do not mind at all. Since it has a classic contour pouch the support is also less. I did get the Touch line and I like the support it provides better than the classic support provided by Speed series.
I recommend it to others if they are looking for the classic support.
