These are advertised as knee-high, but they aren’t… unless you’re 5’2". I’m 6’1" and these are mid-calf. They are also a little loose, so that means they will constantly slip down which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying these socks. As an aside, the picture shows three pairs of socks to show the three colors, but this is for only two pair (as the description accurately says).

-30 Below Knee-High Thermal Winter Socks for women. I needed some socks to wear around the house to keep my feet and legs warm. These do the job very well. They fit my feet and legs fine, but after wearing them for several hours, they tend to slip down my leg a little, not much, just a little. They are very thick and comfortable – they do not itch at all. If they didn’t slip down my leg, I would have given them a 5 star.

So they do fit a bit snugly. Most people don’t have my problem, though. These socks are very warm and have a really nice thickness to them. They will do me good in the super cold spell we’re having.

Used these in 35 degree weather while it was pouring rain in the Pacific Northwest. I was out on my dirt bike clearing trails. These socks worked a lot better than I thought they would. As a matter of fact they were the only socks I was wearing on this day. My feet, although soaking wet, were toasty and warm. How can this be? My boots were filled with water but my feet never were cold. I highly recommend these socks for cold weather, whether your feet are dry or wet, these socks will keep your feet warm. Amazing! Only reason for 4 stars? They will "pill" easily. No big deal but maybe wearing a protective sock over top will keep them from pilling.

I got what I was looking for in warm socks. Thick but not too thick to wear with fleece lined boots (Colombia, Ugg’s, Old Friend, On the GO, ). Comfortable, nice color, excellent fabric, nice wash and dry (no pelling or annoying fuzz). Nice to wear with slippers around the house, or bracing for freezing Vermont weather.

These socks are fabulous! I work in the coldest weather climate. These socks keep my toes and feet warm. AMAZING!!

I bought these and a pair of Heat Holders Thermal Socks for my husband. He has circulatory and neuro issues in one foot and as winter advances, the cold has been causing him pain. He wears the socks around the house without shoes. He says these ones start out nice and fluffy but squash flat after one wear and don’t work as well or feel as comfortable as when they’re first on after washing. He now only wears them when the Heat Holders are in the wash and has had to use a heat pad.

Order a smaller size than you expect.

They are socks.

I ordered them a little large, but I don’t mind that for these socks are warm and soft and the top is not too tight. I will wear them all winter around the house.
