What They Say About ‘2-PACK LONG SLEEVE SIDE SNAP SHIRTS’

I was looking to duplicate the shirts we received in the hospital, but in the next larger size. These are perfect. There are some unravelling threads after a dozen washes but they are easy to trim off and the snaps are all still securely attached. They will only be worn for aeveral weeks before being outgrown and at this price point I think the quality is just fine. The fabric is very soft and we have found these to be a super easy pajama option for those early sleepless nights. They make diaper changes a snap.

I was hesitant about buying this product after reading the negative reviews but couldn’t find anything that looked more favorable so I took a chance. I’m glad I did, they were exactly what I was looking for.

I just love these snap shirts. They are so much easier to put these on then a onesie or tshirt that goes over the head of a squirmy baby). These are also a thicker cotton than the gerber snap shirts and feel sturdier. If I were to do this again, I would buy only these. They fit as expected and I never had any issues with fraying and snaps falling off. My only complaint is that they don’t come in the next size up.

I guess the title of my review basically sums up this product. 🙂

Not only are these shirts very soft directly out of the package – they remain so after a few washings. Their quality is decent enough for the price, and being that these will be worn for such a short amount of time, I suspect that they’d last through at least 3 newborns. (The material itself isn’t too thin or thick. The stitching is decent. The snaps should last for awhile.)

My only complaint was that these smelled like a cheap vinyl shower curtain when removed from the package. (The smell obviously coming from the packaging itself.) Since I wanted to be certain to remove any toxins from these, they went through the wash a few times and line dried for good measure.

After just one wash in cold water, using minimal amount of Tide detergent on gentle cycle in high efficiency washer and extra low heat dryer ,they came out 2 sizes smaller.

Kimono tops are the best for newborns and infants. Very few snaps. Don’t need to be dragged over the head annoying the baby, especially tricky when soiled. Perfect for skin-to-skin. Don’t irritate the belly button area. These ones are soft and well made, but the sizing is off. The NB size runs bigger than Gerber 0-3M kimonos (although mine were inherited from somebody else and might have shrunk). At 24″ and 11lb, my 4mo old girl could still fit into NB size.

The package says:
– NB 5-8lb / 21.5in
– 0-3 8-12.5lb / 21.5-24in
– 3-6 12.5-16.5lb / 24-26.5 in

Arms are to short so the mittens cuffs don’t really fit over his hands. The neck cut out is to large, so his shoulders are exposed and not covered. Our baby is only 7 lbs 7 oz. If we had not thrown away the packaging we would of tried to return these.

These are great for newborns! The mits keep them from scratching their little faces and the side button is easy to put them on instead of pulling over their heads

We love side snap shirts for the first few months and have a hard time finding them in the stores in our area. When I saw these online I decided to give them a try. Newborn size fit more like 0-3 and was kind of awkward, slim around the belly but gaping at the neck and they are very long too. They are tagless, but the writing came off in the wash, and I found a few letters on my sons back after he wore it. Gerber brand is better, if you can find them.

These were great to have when my son was very small. For inexperienced parents, dressing a newborn can be tricky and I didn’t like having to pull clothes over his head. I like that these shirts snapped on instead and it was nice that there wasn’t much rubbing against his umbilical cord. The mittens on the end of the sleeve were also beneficial since he scratched himself frequently. The letters on the shirt tag have mostly rubbed off, but I don’t really mind.

Had lose threads.
