For those who are familiar with products from TheTieBar, their bowties are nice, thick, full, and keep their shape well. They don’t fray and live up to every expectation. Surely this isn’t the most formal pink bowtie out there, but it looks good for the intentions I have for it. My only problem is that I don’t often feel like wearing pink, which doesn’t go with too many colors. That’s a mere matter of preference, of course.

The paisley pattern is exactly as shown in the picture. I would have preferred a higher level of complexity and more texture, but it’s a good thing I didn’t have those as part of my expectations.

All in all, no surprises. You know exactly what you’re getting.

I bought this tie as a test to see if I would like wearing a bow tie. The tie is of a good quality. The red color is a good maroon shade and the grey accents it nicely. I decided not to get any more bow ties for the time being but it was because I look like a professor in a bow tie and not because this is a bad tie. As a result of me not liking the way I look in a bow tie, I’ve only worn this tie twice but it has held up well those 2 times

If you like the bow tie look, I can recommend this tie.

This particular bow tie is one of my favorites.

A little background story: I am a bit chubby, but I have a long torso, so it was always a pain for me to find a proper length regular tie (and because of it, tying a decent knot). After all, regular ties did not give much substance and spark to my appearance, so I decided to give bow ties a try. I introduced bow ties into my wardrobe for the first time earlier this year, and I was initially worried that I may look strange wearing them. Not only I found it matching my personality and style much better than ordinary ties, but I feel it is much easier to tie than a regular tie.

Speaking of style and look of this tie, this is one of my seven bow ties, and is absolutely the best. It fits perfectly with anything from a striped suit to grey or white colored shirts. The quality and sturdiness of the fabric did not disappoint either. I always get compliments from people while wearing this tie (even more so than with other bow ties I own).

The tie can be easily adjusted according to your neck size, but you have to make sure you account for the thickness of the shirt (usually about .25-.5 of an inch). Also, make sure you adjust it before tying it, because it is nearly impossible to do when you tie the bow. I suggest wearing it first with a simple knot (1 step ahead of tying the bow) and checking the fit, so you don’t waste your time later.

This bow tie is outstanding. The craftsmanship and quality offer great value for the price you pay. The paisley design is above average quality. I had to resort to U-Tube for tying instruction but for the tie itself you can’t go wrong. One other note, I was looking for an alternative to the traditional black tie and the nice design did the trick.

I have ordered several bow ties from The Tie Bar and have been pleased with all of them. The mechanism to size the tie to your neck seems sturdy, as does the material the ties are made of. The ties are easy to die and finish, and so far haven’t gone limp like other bow ties I’ve owned. I currently own about 15 ties that I bought from The Tie Bar, and have been happy with all of them.

I purchased this beautifully designed bowtie for a new friend who is a "bowtie" guy. I also purchased the matching handkerchief . I didn’t know the bowtie would arrive untied,but luckily he can tie them and they did send step by step instructions. I wanted something a cut above the ordinary bowtie and this is certainly that. The classic paisley design in the platinum, silver,and charcoal color scheme is quietly elegant and will be noticed when this young man wears this set without screaming at his surroundings. It would be perfect to wear to a wedding– even his own! I truly believe any guy who wears these would cherish this one , especially for very special occasions.

Subtler in person than on screen. Weave is adequate and the workmanship seems very good. Adjustment is properly done and the pattern covers the great portion of the back. I bought several ties for a period wedding and I chose this one as the keeper.

Nice tie. Very classy mix of shades. Slightly heavy material, which tends to snag and pull threads if you are not careful. I noticed a pulled thread after one use. However, decent bang for the buck…but sadly not going to be one of my "favorites". A great tie for a wedding, prom or similar , once in a while use, in my opinion.
